Further, Ojo engineers field-test new hardware so that we can measure performance against manufacturers’ claims. We look for reliability, consistency, durability and responsive technical support from our vendors.

IPVS is a rapidly evolving industry. We are seeing higher resolution in megapixel cameras, a greater selection of lenses and more powerful applications in video management software. The world is rapidly transitioning from legacy analog cameras and labor-intensive CCTV systems to the much higher-performing digital cameras that enable video access through the Internet and can generate automatic alerts. We’re also seeing a convergence of video surveillance with other types of security deployments, such as access control and integrated perimeter security systems.

System Integrators

As systems integrators, we are just as familiar with the back end as the front end of a video surveillance system. We understand networks, servers, switches and encoders. After all, Ojo Technology was the outgrowth of an IT service company, Network Designs, which is a fully-staffed sister company with its own IT professionals. We also know our way around Video Management Software (VMS), so we can install and configure software in a variety of environments, from small to large.

Apart from cameras and networks, Ojo Technology has expertise in wireless video, infrared illumination and solar-powered installations. And we have the ability to fabricate custom housings, mountings and other accessories in our own lab.
